Clayton Brough verified the death dates of William Brough (died 8 June 1795), William Brough Jr. (30 Aug 1811), and Hannah Robinson (wife of William Brough Jr; she died 4 Oct 1851) as recorded on a gravestone located at St. Matthew's Parish Church in Meerbrook, Leekfrith, Staffordshire, England. The gravestone reads as follows: 'Underneath he the remains of William Brough late of Middlehulme Yeoman who departed this life June 8th 1795 aged 70 years. William Brough Jun died Aug 30, 1811 aged 55 years. Also Hannah his wife died Oct 4, 1851 aged 76 years.1' |
