Rathbone and of Mrs. Rathbone, of Greenways, Worplesdon. Surrey. and Miss Joan Duckworth, onlv daughter of Mr. Ellis Heys Sanderson Duck- worth and Lady Lacon, Sheringham, Norfolk. The Rev. E. Kinloch Jones and the Rev. E. A. Richards officiated. The bride, who was given away by her stepfather, Sir George Lacon, viore a gown of white French lace, the bodice and sleeves picked out in a silver leaf design and the full skirt extended to torm a train. Her circular veil, threaded with silver, was sur- mounted by a tiara of pearls, and she carried a shower-bouquet of mixed flame-coloured flowers. The bridesmaids-Miss Noreen Rath- bone (sister of the bridegroom) and M iss Audrey Gold-wore dresses of white chiffon, cut on classical lines, with wide, gold- embroidered belts. Their head-dresses were of white flowers and chiffon, and they carried bouquets of mixed flame-coloured flowers. Mr. John Rathbone was best man. The reception was held at the Blakency Hotel."
