Biography		Ernest took his young bride out to the Nullabour Plain in Western Australia to work on the East West Railway where they lived in a succession of white washed hessian shacks which were moved along as the Railway Line progressed.Ethel gave birth to 9 children while living out there where sometimes she only had Aborigines for company. The "Tea and Sugar Train" would come along once a month and bring supplies and the Afghan Camel Trader would also come by and Grandma would (if she had a few extra pennies) buy ribbons and such from them.³
