This may be the same Edmund Brough as the one that now appears on this family group record.1

Note* Alice Boulton According to a neighbor who personally spoke to Clayton Brough in August 2002: Alice Unwin died in the mid 1990's. She had one daughter, Margaret (about 45 years old) and one son, David (about 44 years old). Alice's husband was a Methodist Minister and died prior to her death.

In a letter (and data) dated 31 October 1989, Alice Unwin wrote and informed the RBFO that she was a great-granddaughter of Marian Brough and Robert Evans. At that time, Alice Unwin's address was: 41 Corporation Street, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 4AU, England.

On September 24, 2003, Jim H. Brough provided the RBFO with the obituary of Alice Unwin, which stated: 'At rest on July 14, 1993, Alice aged 70 years of Stoke, the dearly beloved wife of the late George Unwin, precious mother of Margaret and David. Service on Thursday July 22 at Bethel Evangelic Free Church, Newhall St. Hanley at 10am followed by cremation at Carmountside. Relatives and friends kindly meet at the Church.' Also, Jim Brough located the birth year of Alice (1922) and that she was the daughter of Lydia Evans and Harry Boulton (were were married in 1918).1
